You ...

  • are probably already busy
  • have a profile on one of the big language sites with a high level of positive feedback.
  • keep track of your contacts in Google, Facebook, Plaxo or similar and synchronise them automatically with your smart phone.
  • love languages, enjoy nuances and encourage others to learn.
  • have a number of contacts working in languages, some of whom are local to you.
  • have skills and one or more qualifications in translation/localization, interpreting or language teaching.
  • are encouraged, not put off by the requirements listed above.


Systems Developer


We require a talented and enthusiastic Systems Developer to improve and expand the features of our websites, office support and workflow systems.

You ...

  • do not need great spoken or written language skills, but an interest and ability to recognise patterns would be helpful, particularly in the multilingual aspects of the websites.
  • are proficient in the most widely used server-side programming language on the Internet.
  • can use client side debugging tools.
  • can use version control, preferably 'git'.
  • can work alone or in a small team.
  • will not know everything, but will be excellent at Googling for solutions.
  • will know why developers often hate older versions of Internet Explorer.
